Christ had a reputation as a Glutton, a Winebibber, and a Friend of Sinners. He went out to eat and they called him a Glutton. He drank wine with some friends at a party and they called him a Winebibber. He spent time with those that He died to save, and they called Him a Friend of Sinners. It all depends on how you look at it. Perhaps we need to be more hospitable and open our minds, our hearts, and our doors. Invite someone to dinner, enjoy a glass of wine, and befriend someone like you – a sinner.
