Christ in us, and us in the culture. This dual-existence often creates an interesting set of circumstances. Our Christ is essential to our faith, but Our Culture often makes it difficult to balance our faith with the culture’s expectations. We know that Jesus is the answer to all of life’s questions, but we also know that not everyone wants to hear about Him. Our Culture requires us to be “politically correct” so as not to offend others, yet in so doing, are we not being true to Our Christ? If we obey Our Culture are we not obeying Our Christ? The Early Church knew about this, and we may soon find out more about it ourselves.
